Here are a few of our favorite things to help you get around your neighborhood:

Coffee Shops

1. The Wormhole Coffee: 1462 N Milwaukee

What we love:  the super cool atmosphere: Back to the Future + Nintendo. Oh, and we love the honey bear latte

2. Caffe Streets: 1750 W Division

What we love: the monkey latte (organic banana, molasses and the Chider [a fusion of apple cider and homemade chai])

3. Buzz: Killer Espresso: 1644 W Damen

What we love: vanilla latte

4. The Map Room: 1949 N Hoyne

What we love: sure, they have a huge selection of beer but have you tried their espresso?

What we love: pumpkin spice latte

What we love: they’ve always got a great music lineup and there’s a section just for kids

2. Chill Fest: usually held in November

What we love: that it’s one of the newer festivals featuring local acoustic artists, shops, and food

What we love: the walking taco. This place is ALWAYS crowded, if you don’t want to wait – try the Kitchen to Go/Walk Up area; they just have a smaller menu

What we love: it’s whirly ball!

2. The Flat Iron Arts Building: 1579 N Milwaukee

What we love: you’ve probably driven past this building a hundred times but have you gone inside? There’s a lot to see: art, tattoo parlors, costume stores, etc.
